I am a native-English-speaking, TESOL-certified professional tutor with 7 years’ instructional experience and 3 years’ experience tutoring English as a second language.

My education includes a Teaching English as a Second Language Tier II Certification from the Global Leadership College, a transfer degree with honors from Clark State Community College, City Year’s Advanced Training Academy and Basic Training Academy (lesson planning, classroom management, individualized instruction, analyzing and utilizing student data), PTE test prep training from Skills Lagoon, and more.

I speak fluent English, intermediate Spanish, and beginning Arabic, and I read these languages plus Grade 1 Braille.

I have experience as a university tutor, a freelance tutor, a pre-school teacher, and an educational corps member. In my most recent position as a corps member, 100% of my focus list students improved their English test scores during my time with them. I believe that everyone can learn, and I work with students to individualize training to meet their needs.
