This free website let’s you play a game to practice hearing the difference between English consonants and vowels. I strongly recommend you practice on this website every night for 10 minutes if you have problems hearing any English sound.
You can sign up for free to do more practice tests. You need to create a user name, password, and give your age and country.Jennifer’s English – Vowel Sounds
Click on “Pronunciation of English Vowels”. This video series explains in-depth the different main English vowel sounds and how to say them.
Click on “English Pronunciation Lessons” to get more information about common problems ESL students have.

Shadowing (repeating what you hear a native speaker say, trying to copy it exactly) can be a great way to improve your pronunciation.
You can practice shadowing with ANY recording of a native speaker. I have recommended two sites below to get you started:TED Talks
Really, you can practice shadowing with ANY recording of a native speaker. The important thing is to listen, paying attention to the sounds and NOT the written words/spelling. However, TED Talks can be a great way to practice shadowing, however, because you can listen to a sentence, see its translation in your native language, see the English subtitles, and then practice imitating without any subtitles.
